1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At P4rty! Host, we take your privacy seriously. We operate on a fundamental principle: Your data belongs to you. We have designed our platform to collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to provide a secure and functional web hosting service. We do not, and will never, sell your personal data, IP addresses, or hosted content to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
2. Why We Need Your Data
P4rty! Host runs on our own VPS infrastructure. We collect certain technical data (like IP addresses) to maintain server security, prevent abuse, and route web traffic correctly.
3. Data We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Your username, email address, and a hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text.
- IP Addresses: We log IP addresses for security purposes, DDoS protection, and rate limiting. This helps us prevent malicious attacks and ensure platform stability.
- Hosted Content: Any files, databases, or posts you create. This data is stored on our servers so it can be served to the public as your website.
- Activity Logs: We log administrative actions (like site creation or deletion) to help you track your account activity and to assist in troubleshooting.
- Support Tickets: If you contact customer support, we store your ticket subject, category, and every message exchanged between you and our support staff so the conversation can be followed up on.
- Credit Balance: We store your in-platform credit balance and a log of credit changes (admin adjustments and plan purchases) tied to your account.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To host your websites and provide access to the dashboard.
- Security: To detect and block malicious activity via our DDoS protection and AutoMod systems.
- Communication: To send important account-related notifications or password reset emails.
- Compliance: To satisfy applicable legal requirements.
5. Data Protection & Security
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information:
- Hashing: All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard BCRYPT hashing.
- CSRF Protection: We use secure tokens to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks.
- Rate Limiting: We limit the frequency of requests from a single IP to prevent brute-force attacks and server strain.
- Isolation: Each user's site and SQLite database are isolated to prevent cross-account data access.
6. Detailed Page Data Handling
Here is how data is handled on specific pages:
- File Manager: Files you upload are scanned by AutoMod for malicious patterns but are otherwise private to your account until you share your site's URL.
- Forum & Blog: Content posted here is public. We collect your username and timestamp for each post.
- Profile Page: Your bio and PFP are public. Profile pictures are stored in our secure `/uploads/pfp/` directory.
- DSL Console: Queries you run are executed directly against your database. We do not log the content of these queries unless they trigger a security flag.
- Customer Support: Ticket messages are visible to you and to our support staff only. They are used to resolve your issue, including suspension and warning appeals, and are not shared publicly.
7. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. You can manage your profile information directly through the dashboard. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you can do so via the Account Deletion page. Once confirmed, this process is final and all your data will be purged from our active databases.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
